About the Wild

Wisconsin Wild Philosophy

The Wisconsin Wild Girls Hockey Association is an all-female non-profit hockey program based in the greater Milwaukee area. The primary objectives of the Wisconsin Wild are; to provide an opportunity for girls to play hockey at the highest competitive level in a Full Season Format, the promotion of high academic achievement while playing a competitive sport, the development & preparation of players for the next level of competitive play and to provide National Exposure  to DI & DIII College programs .
Please visit the Alumnae tab on this site for a list of nearly 90 former Wild players that have gone on to play in College.
For the 2010-2011 season the Wisconsin Wild will field multiple AAA only teams ranging from USAH Tier I (AAA) U12 through  U19.  Our U14AAA , U16AAA, and U19AAA teams will compete in the prestigious Tier I Elite (formerly Midwest Elite) Girls Hockey league. http://www.tier1elitehockeyleague.com/

The
Wisconsin Wild is entering our 14th year of existence.  From 22 players and two teams back in 1997, the Wisconsin Wild has grown to become one of the most successful all-female hockey organizations in the country.
Junior Wild Development Program
In an ongoing effort to continue to grow the sport of girls' hockey, the Wisconsin Wild has also developed a Junior Wild Program that is focused on attracting girls from age 5 to 12 to come out and experience what we all know is the "Coolest Game on Earth".  Click here for more information on the Junior Wild and upcoming sessions.
