Wisconsin Wild Philosophy
The Wisconsin Wild Girls Hockey Association is the largest all-female non-profit hockey program in the Midwest and one of the largest in the country. Based in the greater Milwaukee area, the primary goal of the Wisconsin Wild is to provide an opportunity for all girls to play hockey at a level commensurate with their ability.
As a result of this philosophy, the Wisconsin Wild will field multiple teams this season ranging from development level (Our Deva’s) through the most competitive level USAH Tier I (AAA) at each age classification thru U19.
The Wisconsin Wild is entering our 11th year of existence. From 22 players and two teams back in 1997, the Wisconsin Wild has grown to become one of the most successful all-female hockey organizations in the country.
Wisconsin Wild Academics & College Hockey
For those girls who aspire to play hockey at the college level, the Wisconsin Wild has developed a solid reputation for being able to prepare players for the achievement of this goal. The Wisconsin Wild provides players this opportunity by:
* Playing against the best competition in the country
* Participating in elite Leagues & Tournaments
* Providing exposure to college scouts
* Stressing the Importance of Academic Achievement while competing at the highest Athletic level.
In the Wild's short history, a significant number of players have gone on to play hockey at colleges all around the country. Here is a summary of our alumnae and their respective schools.

The Wisconsin Wild is very proud of the fact that we are able to offer an exceptionally high quality coaching staff at each and every age level. Our coaches have many years of experience and are very committed to the development of all players. They have a very good understanding of the game and more importantly, how to teach the game.
Junior Wild Development Program
In an ongoing effort to continue to grow the sport of girls' hockey, the Wisconsin Wild has also developed a Junior Wild Program that is focused on attracting girls from age 5 to 12 to come out and experience what we all know is the "Coolest Game on Earth".
