Brewers Fundraiser Outline

IMPORTANT REMINDER:

Tuesday March 27th is our last scheduled training meeting for the Brewers/Sportservice fundraiser.

If by chance you were not able to attend any of our training sessions and are still interested in participating, please email me at ahietpas3@new.rr.com or call me at 920-788-3390 and we will try to sign you up for another training session they might have.
I'm also looking for people to sign up for game slots. Coming up soon is opening day April 2nd, also April 6th & 7th and April 30th. We still have openings for all 4 sessions and we need to fill them soon.  Please let me know if you can help out.
Thanks,
Andy Hietpas

FUNDRAISER OVERVIEW

We are once again establishing a "pool" of people interested in working concessions at Miller Park for Brewers games.

YOU MUST BE 18 to participate, and friends and family are welcome to help out, however EACH PERSON MUST GO TO A TRAINING SESSION TO BE ELIGIBLE TO WORK AN EVENT.

The Wild is contracted to provide a crew to work for a minimum number of games. A person can work as many or as few as they want or are able within the Wild's contracted games or as the Brewers/SportService request.

The "work day" begins 2.5 hrs BEFORE the scheduled start of the game. Estimate that the total time of work is roughly 6 hours for each event.

The Brewers fundraiser offers a great way to help pay your ice fees. Here's an informational sheet explaining the details about this program. It contains information about the way the fundraiser works, and the schedule that the Wild has contracted to work for this year.

We have 2 training sessions scheduled for those workers that are new or have not attended a training session THIS YEAR. You have to attend a training session each year. The dates for the Wild's training sessions are: Monday March 12th @ 6:30pm and Tuesday March 27th @ 6:30pm. All training sessions will be held at Miller Park and should last until about 9:00. If your are not able to make either of these dates, please let me know and we can work on other alternatives.

So, for anyone interested in participating in this program I need the following information from you:

1) Your name, email address (the one you would like me to use to contact you throughout the year), your mailing address (to get parking passes to you),your home phone number, your cell phone number, the training date you would like to attend (if you have not already done so), and the games you would like to work.

If you have a crew of people you would work with, please let me know and I will try to accomodate. Also, if you look through the Brewers home schedule and you see dates that you would like to work(other than games we are already scheduled for) and you can get a crew of people together, let me know and I can check with the Brewers/Sportservice to see if that date would be available.

I will send out updates as needed, which will be weekly or more now and less frequently later.

PLEASE NOTE:

The Board has asked if we wouldn't mind scheduling 2 games and have the funds raised during those games to be donated to the Jr. Wild program. This money would pay for some depserately needed equipment needed to recruit more young ladies into our program. The dates I have chosen for these 2 dates are: Saturday May 19th and Tuesday August 14th. I would like everyone to consider giving one day to give back to the program and donate your time for the JR WILD program.

All communications for this program will be done by email and my email address is ahietpas3@new.rr.com. If you need to get ahold of me right away my cell phone # is 417-848-7764.
